This weekend past we decorated a gorgeous wedding at The Bungalow in Bowring Park – it’s always nice to work with our friends at Red Oak Catering at this charming venue. Here are some photos we took with our new camera…
We designed this custom sign with a lovely fresh floral garland accent and must confess… we love the way it turned out. Greenery is definitely one of our favourite trends of 2017 and we’d be perfectly happy if this trend stuck around forever! 🙂
Our floral designer knocked it outta the park with this bouquet – so pretty!
Sweet little boutonniere for the groom
Fresh floral… is there anything better?
Pub tables like to get all dressed up too!
Beautiful floral compote
Our lace overlays look lovely on top of our champagne tablecloths
Clean, sparkling glass!
The Bungalow fireplace – from drab to fab!
Have we mentioned how much we love candlelight?
It’s all about the details! We say that a lot… but it’s true 🙂
Congratulations to the newlyweds!
This wedding came together quickly and easily. All of the coordination with Valerie and Julian took place while they were on another continent – within just two months of them contacting us for the first time! They were truly a pleasure to communicate with and we loved having some creative freedom to run with their ideas. Thanks you two!
Gotta say, it’s great to be getting back to our summer routine with wedding season in full swing, despite our ongoing displacement from our home base in Churchill Square. We are making it work and have some plans for a temporary solution – stay tuned! 🙂
Here are some more gorgeous photos from Maria Hillier Photography, featuring our floral & decor (and all the little details in between)…
And a side view of the bouquet showing the wrap details.
Here’s another view
We design table numbers to coordinate with each event.
Pretty little vintage bottle trio with fresh stems of floral.
Pretty details like ribbon on the napkins add a nice pop of colour on the tables.
We create coordinating seating charts for each event to tie in with the rest of the reception stationery.
Love the use of twine and clothespins to hold the seating cards.
Empty vases waiting for the bridal party bouquets…
And here are the vases in action with Bridesmaid bouquets.
Lovely Cake with fresh floral & greens
The snow is starting to come down out there, stay cozy and enjoy your weekend everyone!
This wedding took place at The Bungalow in Bowring Park on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in September. The ceremony took place outdoors with a cocktail reception immediately following inside. This is just one example of how to use bolder colours in a soft and pretty way.
Don’t you love the ladder they built for the ceremony backdrop? It looks so sweet accented with the fresh floral we provided. Thanks so much to Maria Hillier for sharing these beautiful images with us!

Have a great weekend!
We set up two very different but equally beautiful weddings at Clovelly this weekend past. Today we are featuring Christal & Will’s Friday wedding, which had a soft romantic feel (stay tuned for another blog post featuring the fun Saturday wedding.)
Reide Photography did a spectacular job with this wedding and we’re so excited to share their photographs with you today (thank you Elsie Reid!) – let’s get right to it…
Below we’ve also posted a few snaps that we took of the custom details created for Christal & Will (please note: we are not photographers and have the utmost respect for the pros who make it look so easy ~ it’s NOT easy!) We encourage any and all photographers to get in touch if we have clients in common – we LOVE seeing our décor & floral through the lens of a professional. 🙂
Thanks to Christal & Will for trusting us with the little details on your big day!
This weekend we had the pleasure of setting up a soft and pretty wedding at Clovelly ~ the light and airy atmosphere definitely makes it one of our favourite venues to decorate. As always, Petite Sweet did an amazing job with the dessert table and all of the elements of the décor came together beautifully. Here are a few pictures we snapped after setting up…

We created all of the wedding signage, seating chart and table numbers to coordinate with the rest of the decor. It’s a great idea to include a sign on or near the dessert table (we went with both!) if you prefer that guests wait until after supper to dive in.
All of Jessica’s floral designs were absolutely stunning but sadly we didn’t get a chance to photograph the bridal bouquets ~ we look forward to seeing a few photos from Nate Gates!
